The  assembled  camera  on  mechanical  trial

Having just been assembled and put through the first mechanical trials.

Hand built, plywood and hard wood large format land camera,
with 150mm lens and 5 by 4 inch viewing screen.

Most parts are made from wood or brass with complex items taken
from old camera equipment.

Now the result!!!!!!!!!

The image was taken on an Ilford printing paper during a 4 hour time-exposure in strong sunlight.  The result was “fixed”, washed then scanned into photoshop where the “negative” was inverted (pink to blue/negative to positive) and the contrast raised.

No developer was used hence the long time-exposure.
